The House of Four Gables

From the clubhouse putting green you can see the roof going up over the outdoor dining space. The gable within will have a window allowing natural light to filter in.  

As our architects informed us early on, there are two kinds of skylights…those that leak and those that will leak.  The gable with the window accomplishes the same goal without the leakage.  As mentioned last time, this gable also will hide the flat roof behind it with the new HVAC equipment. Gables are being added in other locations on the roof to balance the aesthetic design, provide visual interest, and continue the camouflage of air conditioning equipment. See below.
